PioNet can be used to share chapter, division and district announcements, information and ideas with other barbershoppers and chapters in Pioneer. You can ask questions, get answers, bring up your concerns and praises, and generally get involved in e-mail chats about anything that affects your Pioneer barbershop life.

It started Feb. 1, 1997, and has grown to more than 350 subscribers representing all of our chapters, along with some Frank Thorne members and Sweet Adelines.

You will have contact with your district officers and they will be able to get info to you directly and immediately. Please pass the word: If you know of any other Pioneer barbershopper with e-mail, have him e-mail me (jimstyer@comcast.net) so I can offer him the chance to sign up.

PioNet mail traffic averages about 3 messages per day. Its success and further growth depends on your participation.

We use this information to update the PioNet subscriber list. This is for internal use and will not be sold or given to anyone for solicitation, junk e-mail or other non-barbershop purposes.

PS: E-mail etiquette:
1) Do not necessarily copy an entire message in your response, but just enough to give the reader the context of your response.

2) Please include your name, chapter/city and e-mail address in the body of all messages (usually as your sig at the end). Some mail programs don't pick up that info from your header.
